The Black Shuck 85x60cm, Acrylic/Ink on Canvas, Graveyard on Acid, Solo Exhibition, London, 2012
This is a painting made for a solo London show "Graveyard on Acid". The Black Shuck is a ghostly black dog part of British folklore. The theme of the exhibition was taken from my memories as a child and from the time I spent with my grandmother. I'm very fascinated by the local folklore and the spaces where there are traces of it. The graveyard is a calm and lively environment, full of power and mystery.
